Finding top researcher talent shouldn’t require guesswork and a dozen open tabs.

Today, we’re introducing Research Signals in Juicebox, a new way to find and evaluate specialized talent through their publications, patents, citations, and more. Available today for Growth and Enterprise customers.

Here’s a look at what’s new:

🔍 Search by research experience in plain English

Find best-fit candidates based on their papers, abstracts, citations, and contributions

Hiring for deep expertise can be tricky when the right candidate doesn’t surface through titles or keywords alone.

Starting today, you can describe the research experience you’re looking for in plain language, and Juicebox finds the best-fit candidates for you.

Here’s how it works:

  • Describe the expertise: Type a natural-language prompt like, “ML researchers focused on LLMs, agents, and NLP with a strong publication record at ICML, ICLR, and NeurIPS.”

  • Find the strongest matches: Juicebox searches across publications, abstracts, research areas, and technical contributions to surface relevant profiles

With Research Signals, you can quickly turn a highly technical brief into a shortlist of qualified researcher talent.

🎯 Filter by research quality, venues, and institutions

Narrow in on specific quality and topic signals that matter to your search

Once you have your initial results, you can refine them using the markers that matter most for technical and scientific roles.

For example, Juicebox lets you narrow your results by:

  • Output and impact: Citation count, H-index, published works, and highly cited work

  • Contribution: Grants, patents, and first or last author status

  • Momentum: Recent publications, so you can prioritize active researchers

  • Venues, institutions, and topics: Specific conferences and journals, universities, research labs, and research domains

That means less time manually validating profiles and more confidence that you’re engaging with the right candidates for the role.

Everything you want to know about a candidate’s research experience now lives in one place.

Candidate profiles now have a dedicated Research section that brings each candidate’s full body of work directly into their Juicebox profile.

Right from their Juicebox profile, you can:

  • Open linked papers and patents: Access the actual publications, patent records, and PDFs directly

  • Explore interactive details: Click any institution, publication, or venue to dive into their associated research without leaving Juicebox

  • See their research metrics: View works count, citations, H-index, and i10-index at a glance, each linked to the source

Get the evidence you need without turning every candidate review into a research project of your own.
